Georgian media, citing Radio Kommersant, reports that the price of gold has shown a tendency to grow on the Georgian markets.
As reported, the price of a gram of platinum increased from 82 to 96 lari ($1 = 1.65 lari) at one of the largest shopping centers in Tbilisi, Gold Exchange, but, in spite of this, the demand of gold is still high.
The source informs that according to Georgian gold producer Zaraphana’s company’s financial director, the price of gold shows a tendency of growth in the international markets in September as a rule and if the price rises to $55, it will affect the cost of production.
